Brewing Our Story

Our Brewing Stories was inspired the book “Becoming” by Former First Lady Michelle Obama. The key lesson from the book is to not let people define who you are. In order to avoid being just another statistic, just “another cafe”, cafes need to develop and own your story.

Our Brewing Stories was founded by a team of like-minded cafe lovers; a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and enjoy amazing food together. Our love for coffee and our local cafe culture quickly led us to thinking about how we can help save our local cafe scene, which has been badly affected by Covid 19.

We aim to build your story as a cafe. Even the simplest and most genuine thought of “I just want to serve good coffee and make people happy when they gather at my cafe” is something that we want to listen to and pay attention to, to differentiate your business from being just a number. We aim to build brand awareness and a coffee community in Singapore, to help cafes survive Covid 19.

About Us

We are a non-profit, student-led initiative to help cafes operating in Singapore. Our initiative came about during this Circuit Breaker period, where dining-in options are prohibited and small, local F&B companies are taking a huge hit, including our beloved cafes which we long to visit again one day. We wish to aid the cafes through Covid 19.
